Jeanette Laniado was introduced to the family business at a young age, running the family’s beach shop in Virginia Beach, VA. It was there that she developed a keen eye for trends and learned how to adapt to the changing seasons. In the 1980s, as her family grew, Jeanette moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, to open more beachwear stores and expand their reach.

In 1997, an opportunity arose in the form of a deal for two-piece bikinis—products that weren’t the right fit for the family’s existing business. But Jeanette saw potential. She purchased the entire lot and sold it along the Carolina coastline, which led to the creation of Swimsuit Station.

Today, over 25 years later and based in Ocean, NJ, Swimsuit Station is the nation’s leading swimwear wholesale distributor, serving over 1,500 customers and offering a complete range of swimwear and cover-ups.
